BLOOMFIELD COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, INC.

An affiliate of the Nebraska Community Foundation, was formed to be a vehicle for charitable contributions for projects in and around Bloomfield with tax deductible donations.

The Bloomfield Community Foundation originated from the Bloomfield Development Corporation in 2001. The new organization is capable of receiving tax deductible donations. The Bloomfield Community Foundation believes that many residents want to donate to the community but do not know where to donate to. The Foundation will allow people to donate to an organization that has one purpose, to help Bloomfield and its area grow and expand. You can have your gift designated to a specific project or make it an unrestricted gift.

Here is a list of ways you can give to the Bloomfield Community Foundation:

  • Gifts of Cash
  • Gifts of Appreciated Property
  • Assign Stocks and Bonds
  • Gifts of Life Insurance
  • Gifts by Will or Trust
  • Gifts that provide income (Charitable Gift Annuity or Charitable Remainder Trust)
  • Become a Founding Member of the Bloomfield Community Foundation

FOUNDATION ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The Bloomfield Community Foundation attracted the Michael Foods Processing Plant, which has supported Bloomfield businesses and many community projects over the years. The Foundation helped to attract a Physician’s Assistant to help in the Health Care Industry. The Bloomfield Community Foundation provided funding for the First National Service Center, which employs 50 full time employees.
